Job Description: Metas Solutions has an " immediate opening" for an experienced Mid-Level to Senior Public Health Project Manager II to work in Atlanta, Georgia . Candidates for this role will be expected to provide Project Management support for the CDC Data Element Standardization activities to advance Case Surveillance Modernization . This role will apply project management concepts and skills to coordinate execution of the numerous, tightly integrated activities among multiple workstreams that are required to support the standardization of surveillance data elements. The Project Manager Manage a staggered workplan to support concurrent work on overlapping complex concepts on an aggressive timeline, and review processes and documents, identify and document gaps, schedule activities, address obstacles, coordinate among workstreams, and review findings with leadership. Responsibilities: Collect and document information to ensure project aligns with the organization's strategic goals and Case Surveillance Modernization initiatives. Gather program or project requirements for DHIS staff and CDC program partner (as needed) to meet identified case surveillance modernization project needs. In collaboration with modernization program staff and identified CDC programs and partners: check processes for gaps; develop or revise project workflows; and gather requirements for processes, roadmaps, and strategic plan, including inputs and outputs. Document, track, and report on tasks that support the programs strategic goals and program initiatives. Develop, manage, and monitor modernization project schedules in the planning, operations, maintenance, and close- out phases (e.g., draft and update schedule, document barrier, challenges and action items, track timelines and task dependencies within and across projects, and identify and document resource gaps). Attend meetings and display status boards, worksheets, and spreadsheets and capture input as indicated. Qualifications: Master of Public Health (MPH) with 5+ years of experience with increasingly Project Management roles PMP certification desired or other PM related certification preferred 5+ years of experience with Project Management or Project Coordination, preferably in a public health domain. Experience is preferably within a federal agency, public health organization, or state-based public health program. Proven ability to effectively coordinate and execute multiple integrated activities among multiple workstreams Demonstrated experience coordinating the work of teams at multiple locations. Effective use of project management and team communication tools Experience with data analysis and customer support skills. Strong proficiency in MS Excel (e.g., pivot tables, calculations, custom formulas, VLOOKUP), Word, and PowerPoint. Strong proficiency with Microsoft toolset including Microsoft Project and other similar project management scheduling tools. Proficiency in maintaining attendance and distribution lists and in using Microsoft Dynamics CRM tools. Strong proficiency using Microsoft Teams, SharePoint Online and other collaboration tools. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal. Strong interpersonal skills and ability to provide outstanding customer service. Strong and effective communicator with ability to express information to individuals or groups effectively while considering the audience and nature of the information. Ability to make clear and convincing oral presentations, listens to others, attends to nonverbal cues, and responds appropriately.
