YOUR LIFE AS A SENIOR EVENT PLANNER As the Senior Event Planner, you are responsible for day-to-day catering service with a focus on weddings, large social events, and complex Club functions. This position provides day-of oversight for assigned events and works closely with the banquet department to ensure members and guests consistently enjoy above-and-beyond experiences. The Senior Event Planner is expected to take charge and be professional with the ability to perform administrative duties and logistics in support of a fast-paced events environment. You must be highly organized with the ability to anticipate project needs, discern work priorities, and meet deadlines with little supervision. QUALIFICATIONS Minimum of a four-year college degree in Hospitality Management or a related field Minimum of five years of event and wedding planning experience, Club experience preferred ABC/CPCE/CMP Certification, Preferred Flexible work schedules working weekends and major holidays are often required as assigned Excellent verbal and written communication skills Knowledge of MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Publisher is required NorthStar proficiency preferred; Social Tables and Delphi experience is a plus Highly polished personal presentation of self Are you positive, engaging, and hands-on?
