The organization also delivers some province-wide health services and supports centralized administrative and business functions for Manitoba health organizations. Position Summary: The Pharmacist is responsible to the shop Manager and provides services in accordance with established departmental policies and procedures, professional regulations and standards and Provincial and Federal statutes. Principle functions are divided between clinical shop activities and drug distribution services for inpatients and outpatients at the Bethesda Regional Health Centre and Area. The incumbent will exercise the appropriate level of initiative and independent judgment in determining work priorities, work methods to be employed and action to be taken on unusual matters. The position functions in a manner that is consistent with the mission, vision and values; and the policies of Southern Health‐Santé Sud. Qualifications: Completion of a Bachelor of Science in shop, or equivalent undergraduate shop degree is required Post-graduate education, training in a relevant field of study, and/or completion of a hospital shop residency program is preferred Membership in the Canadian Society of Hospital Pharmacists licensed, or eligibility for licensure, as a pharmacist in the Province of Manitoba Working knowledge of drug distribution systems and information systems technology used.
