Responsibilities:• Demonstrating high levels of professionalism, courtesy, friendliness, and respect towards potential clients is essential.• You should possess a rich background in selling products and/or services, adept at delving into prospects' needs while maintaining top-notch customer service.• Experience in selling high-value tangible goods and/or financial/professional services, employing a consultative approach, is preferred.• Comfort with metrics is crucial; you should be capable of discussing scorekeeping, transparency, and accountability accurately.• You will engage with Potential New Clients through video conferencing, telephone, and face-to-face meetings to facilitate clarity about their situation, provide education on available options, and support them in making informed decisions for their future. Please note that you will not provide legal advice.• Following office procedures, you will conduct meetings aimed at bringing new qualified cases to the firm and ensure timely follow-up with potential clients.• Being a quick learner, you will undergo comprehensive training covering various aspects of criminal law.• You will familiarize yourself with and uphold the bar rules of ethics and professionalism, particularly regarding the definition of providing legal services.• Collaborating with the rest of the team you will regularly meet to enhance the intake process.• You will be tasked with ensuring new clients are equipped for a successful start to their case.• Maintaining meticulous records in a centralized database, you will document all interactions with prospective new clients, including pre-meeting, during the meeting, and follow-up attempts. Qualifications:• You will need 2-3 years of proven inside or outside sales experience.• To be successful in this role you must have strong negotiation, communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills.• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think on your feet.• Basic computer skills, including knowledge of Excel or other software applications: CRM experience preferred.• Knowledge of the criminal justice system is a plus.• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.• High school diploma or higher is required.
