Apex Medical Center is currently seeking a Medical Front Office Receptionist to join our team in Las Vegas, NV 89106 . Who We Are: Apex Medical Center is a comprehensive practice and offers services beyond pain management. Patients from the greater Las Vegas area turn to the Apex Medical Center team for help with many different medical conditions, including diabetes, allergies, gastrointestinal issues, skin ailments, and more. What You'll Do: Greet patients at front desk as they sign in Answer main office phone line. Direct telephone calls to appropriate section for assistance. Take messages as required. Arrange and schedule medical appointments and determine patient eligibility for services. Relay general instructions to patients or makes referrals to other sections. Obtain, update, and file medical records as needed. Organize and research patient records, extract needed information, and review records for completeness, accuracy, and consistency within established guidelines. Obtain documentation as requested by healthcare providers (test results, or documentation not yet filed in records). Perform other administrative and clerical duties in support of the medical care and operational support. Conduct end-of-day process at close of business and resolve any delinquent or pending appointments in computer system Our Ideal Candidate: Education and Experience Minimum of 1 year experience as a Front Desk Receptionist or Face to Face Customer Service High Volume Phone experience within an office setting preferred Bilingual in Spanish - Speak, Read and Write - strongly preferred Minimum High School Diploma required Ability to travel to all three Apex Medical Center locations as needed. Required Skills and Abilities Works well under pressure Willing to work as a team, be a team player Follow direction Comfortable with a heavy phone load Comfortable in a fast-paced environment Comfortable wearing many hats (multi-tasking) What We Offer: Competitive pay; commensurate with experience ($15-$17/an hour) Benefits package is available; Health, Dental and Vision insurance, in addition to, paid vacation, sick leave, and 401(k) PDN-9bf38f6a-2899-4715-8743-69219404fcc9
