Description:
The Accountant position will have primary responsibility for processing the company's vendor invoices, expense reports, accounts receivable, customer credit applications, general ledger entries, balance sheet and profit and loss account reconciliations, sales and use tax reporting. Responsibilities will include interacting with procurement, vendors, sales, customers, and external partners. Essential Job duties and Responsibilities: Supporting month-end close Accruals Cash entries Intercompany transactions Inventory and fixed assets accounting Corporate planning projects Process improvements Review of manufacturing/general expense entries Interfacing with external tax Independent auditors Require participation in other Dexerials subsidiaries initiatives and other duties as assigned. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Accounting or equivalent Must have 3 to 5 years related experience. Proficiency with MS Office Suite, primarily Excel, is required. Experience with US GAAP, legal entity, and consolidation reporting is a strong plus. Must be able to convey accounting issues/terminology effectively. Understanding of cost and tax accounting preferred Previous experience working in a manufacturing environment is a plus. Knowledge of integrated financial applications, preferably Macola ES Candidate must have excellent communication skills and be able to communicate with all levels within an organization. Must have excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills, and be highly attentive to detail.
