Position Overview: We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Accounts Payable Specialist to join our finance team. The Accounts Payable Specialist will be responsible for managing all aspects of accounts payable functions, ensuring accurate and timely processing of invoices, and maintaining vendor relationships. This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities: Process high volume of invoices accurately and efficiently Match invoices with purchase orders and receiving documents Verify and reconcile discrepancies in invoices, purchase orders, and receiving documents Obtain necessary approvals for invoice payments Prepare and process payments to vendors via check, ACH, or wire transfer Reconcile vendor statements and resolve any outstanding issues Assist with month-end closing processes and accruals Maintain accurate and up-to-date accounts payable records Respond to vendor inquiries and resolve payment discrepancies in a timely manner Assist with ad-hoc projects and tasks as needed Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred 4 years of experience in accounts payable or related role Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP) Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices Excellent organizational and time management skills Ability to multitask and prioritize workload effectively Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Benefits:
