Our busy quick-service restaurant is looking for a cook who enjoys working in a fast-paced atmosphere. We need someone to prepare food stations, cook a large volume of food, and ensure that all food safety and storage rules are followed. Our ideal applicant has prior food industry experience, preferably in fast food, quick service, or fast-casual restaurants, as well as a willingness to learn. Our ideal applicant is a team player who is eager to collaborate with other crew members and has strong time management skills. Apply today if this sounds like an exciting opportunity! Responsibilities: • Clean equipment and work surfaces at the end of each shift, including sweeping floors, mopping, and cleaning counters• Keep all workstations, counters, cooking equipment, and refrigerators clean and sanitary according to health and safety rules• Prepare meals in accordance with the instructions printed on food order tickets or delivered verbally by staff• Use thermometers to check that food has reached an appropriate temperature before serving it• Stock ingredients needed for food items by washing, cutting, dicing, or slicing them as needed Qualifications: • Prior fast food or quick service restaurant industry experience is highly desired• Display excellent communication and interpersonal skills with customers and coworkers• Candidates must be hardworking, detail-oriented, and have a strong work ethic• Ability to understand and comply with kitchen sanitation, safety and equipment usage, and food storage regulations• Must have excellent time-management skills and be able to prioritize and multitask Compensation: $12 - $16 hourly About Company: Big Dave’s Cheesesteaks is one of the fastest-growing businesses in Atlanta, Georgia.
