We are seeking a qualified Histology Technologist III to join our dynamic team. The Histology Technologist III will play a crucial role in providing technical oversight and ensuring standardization across our Histology Laboratory sites. If you have a passion for pathology, a commitment to quality, and meet the qualifications outlined below, we encourage you to apply.Qualifications: Successful completion of a formal training in Histology laboratory technology OR Associates Degree in chemical, physical, or biological sciences, plus four (4) years' experience in a clinical laboratory, OR Bachelors' degree in Histology technology, or chemical, physical, or biological sciences, plus successful completion of a specialist certification exam with a total of five (5) years' experience in a pathology lab with 1 year being current at Northside Hospital Inc. in a HT II position Associates Degree plus ten (10) years' experience in a histology clinical laboratory State-recognized certification as a Histology Technologist within 18 months of employment as a HT in the state of GA Demonstrate skills as described in the promotion path guidelines Must submit to and pass a Color-Acuity screening Test Completion of Histology technologist training ASCP certification is required Responsibilities: Assist Pathology Laboratory Coordinator on technical oversight of one or more laboratory sections to provide technical standardization at all Histology Laboratory sites Implement and perform clinical laboratory procedures according to proper standards and regulations
