Center 2 (19050), United States of America, McLean, VirginiaSenior Process ManagerSenior Process Manager (Senior Associate level)In our Always Audit Ready & Risk Management team, we provide horizontal risk, process and project support for our Consumer and Financial Risk Management organizations. We strive to develop horizontal strategies to optimize how we work in a well managed, risk focused, and always audit ready way for both our clients and our customers.As a Senior Process Manager within the Card and Economic Forecasting teams, your focus is to provide high-quality, well-managed process and control execution support while also ensuring we maintain a strong risk posture to minimize our overall risk footprint.In this role you will:Manage and measure our core day to day process deliverables, working closely with analysts, customers, leadership and stakeholdersCreate transparency between performing teams and leadership while delivering on milestones necessary to support the Loss Forecasting and Allowance processesDevelop and maintain project and agile artifacts to ensure that the process is well managed and controlledIdentify areas for innovation and continuous improvements in our process and subsequently drive prioritization and implementation of those changesFacilitate agile ceremonies including daily sprint stand-ups, sprint planning, grooming and retrospectivesApply process analytics agenda to drive change, including measuring KPIs and OKRsResponsibilities:Drive collaboration and support our process and transformation teams to deliver on our operational efficiency and world class loss estimation productExecute reporting processes and cadence, program meetings to drive updates, creation of management decision support material and data related dashboardsDrive governance and coordination across teams, including planning, reviews, decisions, re-prioritization, identify opportunities and refine initiativesEnsure end to end execution of processes for effective tracking, measurement, reporting and communicationContinuously improve and refine our process through process analytics, driving efficiency and maturity while minimizing pain points and complexityThe ideal candidate should:Enjoy working in a role that is fast-paced and both tactical and strategic in natureEnjoy collaborating with various value streams and stakeholders (eg Analyst, Risk, Governance, Tech etc)Have excellent customer service/relationship management skillsHave great analytical skills that allow you to connect the dots across applications and teamsEnjoy working as both an individual and team contributorHave excellent time management skills and are used to meeting/exceeding rigorous deadlinesHave great communication (written & verbal) and collaboration skillsCreate transparency and foster relationshipsNot be afraid to dive into data and use it to help formulate direction and decisionsNot be afraid to bring new ideas to the table and challenge the status quoBe digitally curious, with a drive to learn more about the business context and Tech platforms used across our Loss forecasting platformsOperate as a self-starter and continuously develop project, process and technology skillsWork well with undefined processes, and enjoy the opportunity to build out new processes and standards, gathering inputs from users and reporting up & out on findingHave strong problem solving and influencing skillsHave work experience achieving resultsBasic Qualifications:Bachelor's Degree or military experienceAt least 2 years of experience using Microsoft Office or G-SuiteAt least 2 years of experience in Process or Project ManagementPreferred Qualifications:Masters / MBA degree1+ years of experience as a Scrum MasterProject Management Professional (PMP), Lean or Six Sigma certificationCertified SCRUM or SAFe certificationAt this time, Capital One will not sponsor a new applicant for employment authorization for this position.Capital One offers a comprehensive, competitive, and inclusive set of health, financial and other benefits that support your total well-being.
