BrightStar Care of Chester County has an immediate opening for a live-in CNA/Caregiver. This includes 8 hours of sleeping overnight in your own area at client's residence as well as 3 hours of free time. We strive to provide best-in-class benefits packages, including:* Benefits • Part of a strong team with RN oversight • Weekly pay with direct deposit • Mobile time tracking and care notes, you can easily manage your schedule from a mobile device • *Free continuing education!* • Caregiver of the Month Reward Program • Referral Bonus • National opportunities with over 300 locations in US • Health Insurance Responsibilities • Implement treatment and plan of care, using sound judgment and critical thinking • Maintain accurate, detailed, and timely documentation consistent with the plan of care and the nursing processes • Be available at least every other weekend • Perform all skill, treatments, and procedures to the scope of practice as defined in the Nurse Practice Act in the state of clinical practice and adhere to the policies, procedures, and protocols of the agency of employment Requirements • High school diploma or GED • Successful completion of a nursing assistant program or valid CNA, PCA, DSP or HHA certification • Certified CPR and negative TB skin test or chest x-ray • Minimum one (1) year of documented health care experience is required • Licensed driver with insured and reliable automobile • Self-directing with the ability to work with little direct supervision • Empathy for the needs of the client • Ability to read, write, speak and understand English and communicate effectively • Treats clients, staff and the public with courtesy, respect and presents a positive public image • Ensures confidentiality and security of the client's medical information. • Must be able to stand walk, squat, bend, kneel, reach, twist, push and pull. Varied assistance is required depending on the mobility of the client.
