Position Overview: We're seeking an adept Accounts Receivable Specialist to oversee our receivables, ensuring prompt collections. The ideal candidate possesses a robust grasp of accounting principles, outstanding organizational prowess, and thrives in high-speed environments. Your role involves processing invoices, reconciling accounts, and liaising with clients to settle outstanding balances efficiently. Key Responsibilities: Efficiently generate and dispatch invoices, ensuring accuracy and timeliness. Record customer payments via various channels, including cash, checks, and credit card transactions. Reconcile the accounts receivable ledger meticulously to uphold accuracy and integrity. Engage with clients to recover outstanding payments and resolve billing discrepancies promptly. Monitor the aging of accounts receivable and prioritize collections activities accordingly. Maintain comprehensive records of customer interactions and payment statuses. Provide management with timely and precise reports on accounts receivable metrics. Assist in month-end and year-end closing procedures as required. Collaborate cross-functionally with departments like sales and customer service to address customer inquiries and concerns. Qualifications: Preferably hold a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Possess 2+ years of experience in accounts receivable or a relevant finance role. Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks, SAP, and advanced Microsoft Excel skills. Demonstrated understanding of accounting principles and financial processes. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities. Meticulous attention to detail coupled with strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to juggle multiple tasks and meet deadlines effectively within a fast-paced environment.
